A virtual medical visit, also known as telemedicine or telehealth visit, is a healthcare appointment conducted remotely using video conferencing, phone calls, or other digital communication tools. Virtual medical care visits allow patients to receive medical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations from a healthcare provider without needing to visit a clinic or hospital in person.
Telehealth visits are neither recorded by video or audio. Stone Integrated Healthcare services are HIPAA compliant and follow strict patient and provider confidentiality agreements to keep your personal information safe.
Virtual care should not be used while driving. Virtual care cannot be used for all medical issues such as: In a medical emergency or when you need to be assessed by a provider in person, a suspected broken bone, wounds that may require stitches or surgery, examination of sensitive area (e.g., genitals).
Our provider can electronically send prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice. Please note that certain medications such as narcotics, controlled substances, pain medications, or sample medications will not be prescribed.
If you do not want to use or have health insurance the out of pocket cost for a visit is $100.00. You can pay with credit, debit, federal spending account (FSA), or health savings account (HSA) cards. Insurance is not required for a visit.
To ensure your visit goes as plan make sure your device is connected to a stable and strong internet connection. If you are disconnected the provider will attempt to reconnect with you again. If you are in your car, please make sure you are not driving during your visit. Find a private space with good lighting.
Testing for flu, covid, strep can require an in- person appointment. In-person appointments are limited and vary depending on reported symptoms.
Currently, all medical services are rendered via telehealth. If an in-person appointment is required after review of the healthcare screening, you will be notified and scheduled accordingly.
